I am a breast cancer survivor and author of (Believing that you belong after having an mastectomy)Follow my journey part 1.I am doing this petition to help low income families have a voice about there healthcare. I am going to tell you a little about myself and why this petition touches my heart. In 2011 and 2012 I had 10 to 12 surgeries done for reconstruction surgery this was my second reconstructive surgery I had to have done. And in that time frame I was having so much pain that I found myself complaining to my plastic surgeon to the point he sent me to see another doctor because he thought I was having muscle cramps. I am mad as hell because I was given medication that the FDA stop approving and found myself going into kidney failure My cry for help was reaching death ears to the point my plastic surgeon that I believed in and trusted stop listening to me about I wasn't feeling right and something was wrong. Instead he discharge me from his care the same month I found out I was going into kidney failure. I have to see a kidney doctor now and if that wasn't bad enough my blood pressure is high I was doing everything I was asked to do I even reported this to the medical board here in Arizona and till this day months later I still haven't heard from them. I feel that the doctors here in Arizona are not getting held accountable for there actions and the patients has to suffer like I am. I just want you to ask yourself one question what if this has happen to your mother, your sister your daughter or girlfriend How would you want them to be treated, Its time for all of the low income families To speak up and realize you do have a voice about how you are treated when it comes to your healthcareand it matters. The medicine I was given was Qualaqun the generic brand of quinine sulfate and this medicine is only approve by the FDAfor uncomplicated malaria and I took this medicine for a year. Thank you in advance
