The sunday night deadlines are super tough for me as a working parent. Need some flexibility here for sure.

Honestly the old way worked just fine and this is just adding unnecessary stress to an already hard program.

THIS NEW POLICY IS RIDICULOUS. We are adults with actual lives and emergencies happen sometimes!!

I strongly agree that the late submission policy as was previously in place should be re-instated!!

I have the extra benefit of residing in Quebec which means that I have to hand in my DQs, assignments, and essays by 11pm Eastern Time to meet the present policy. Upon reflection, for those residing in BC, or in other parts of the world, they don't have the same "benefit" as me. If our timezones are considered, I feel like YU will be more inclusive, egalitarian, and considerate of the MACP student body as a whole. Thank you for listening.

Not allowing late submissions with just cause is at odds with the profession for which the MACP prepares students. Under the current policy a student who’s child suddenly gets ill will fail an assignment. This makes no sense.

It was a comfort to know I had a couple of extra days. Now that comfort is gone
