My daughter, Casey, Yorkville class of 2014, attended YGS, YIS, GRES, BBES, YMS and YHS, due to the last boundary change mess. Changing schools so frequently had an adverse affect on her schooling and social life.
Busing our youngest children that far away and the commute time is unnecessary. Please do not put the youngest through this and put them in unnecessary danger.

You simply can not do this to the youngest children in your district. Shameful!

I think in a, brief synopsis, this decision is a weighty one that should not be taken lightly. While i understand pre-emptive measures need to be taken to meet the coming population growth, i think more viable avenues should be explored.

I stand with the very concerned parents. children need to be in a school that is close to home, and not over crowded for the almighty $. do the right thing!
it's not right for kids live 1 block away to take a bus for almost hr to go to a different school.

I bought my house in Autumn Creek because it has a school in the subdivision so my kids didn't need to travel far to go to school. I think older children can adapt to changing schools better than four and five year olds. I think that the committee is not looking at what is best the children, but how to save a buck.

I want my grand kids to go to the same school when they over lap not 2 different ones!! It's the whole reason we bought in the Autumn Creek Community! Make the middle school 6-8 that's how it is every where else!
