As a Little League coach for the LWAA, the Lake Wylie community and York County can benefit from the addition of these facilities in a number of ways. Currently we are very limited in access to ANY baseball, soccer and football fields for practice and games. Safe and adequate facilities are sorely needed. Having facilities available not only for our children but the ability to host tournaments for all levels of play in multiple sports throughout the year will without question generate significant revenue through the existing hospitality tax to support the bond(s) needed for this project. The need and justification is present and real.

This will benefit the entire county not just Lake Wylie since LWAA soccer will be able to host Clover Rec and Tega Cay. Discoveries North, (players who reside in FM, Tega Cay, York, Clover, LKW) practiced in Charlotte last season because of lack of fields in this area. All of York county's soccer community will benefit from this.
