I very much like the idea of combined approach of the main political parties in York. The declaration is also thoughtfully put together and has my full support. One concern is that in the event of a People's Vote,, the peddling of inaccurate statements will again bring about the same outcome. This worries me.

Supporting all EU nationals resident in the UK and standing up against right wing lies.

watch Carol Cadwalladr's Ted Talks to understand how the 2016 referendum was flawed. Let's now vote on the facts. A passionate Remainer in a reformed Europe, I will abide by the majority decision of an informed referendum. See you in London on 19th.

If we leave the EU the universities will lose, as will the National Centre for Early Music - one of York's most important institutions.

Totally agree... Fantastic benefits for our regions being in the EU. And we can’t change how things are run if we’re not involved

Since we will always be a geographical part o f Europe it is only sensible to be an active member of the European Union.

let's now start planning for the real work - to negotiate from within, the kind of things that most of the leavers keep nagging on about, most of which we have already.

Important to keep listening to all who voted and those who genuinely wished to exit the EU. Vital to build bridges and keep faith with democracy.

The Danes voted to leave the EU but had a second referendum reversing this decision. So should we.

100% agreement. I fear for the future of all young people and children if such social and economic destruction goes ahead.

United we stand; being part of the E.U. means we can share in its decision making, give each other support and be at peace with each other.
