Change the Fee Structure at the Watertown YMCA

Fees need to be reduced. For families with multiple children the fees are just not affordable. Even with scholarships the fees just are too high for single family parents raising large families

Run down lot run down building. This should be expanding with how busy it is and how much is charged. They can't even keep up maintenance. Where does that money go?

This fee is to high for the area we live in. It is making it more difficult for parents to afford when they have more than one child playing sports at the y.

So much for encouraging children to be active! Given the winters we have here, indoor sports are often one of the only options for children to stay physically fit. Way to discourage the middle class....yet again! Let the rich kids play and forget about the rest. Typical!

When families have kids that play multiple sports, or a family has more than one child to play, and therefore pay for, these fees will make the teams only consist only of those from families that have more money than the average. The YMCA should be offering affordable events, that all families can access. If we were to see huge improvements in the facility, we may see the need for an increase in fees..... But that is not the case. The parking lot is a death trap, especially when soccer sessions are in full force, the bathrooms are filthy, and the overall look needs improvement. Walk into the downtown Y, it smells of cleanliness... Yes, it is a large facililty with a lot of traffic coming through - but improvement in some of these areas may warrant a small fee hike. This is not feasible for many families.

Iv been a member at the ymca for years, I just find this new structure to be a bit much, I understand the need for it but there are certainly other ways of handling it.

Been coming to the indoor facility since before it was the y, why so much?

That is outrageous price. Especially with so many people having multiple kids on team. It seems like all sports are charging way too much and not thinking about the kids or the family.

This is unfair price increase or best way to change! I may not play in future indoor soccer sessions!

I have 4 sons that have played at the Y as well as myself. Last year 3 of them played multiple leagues so I'm used to writing a big check every session but removing the team fee for adults puts it over the top. I've talked with many team captains and they are looking to Syracuse to play.

I have been playing in leagues at the Y for years. Where does all the money go? Why is this jump so high is there a big renovation coming?

This price increase is ridiculous and will absolutely cause the loss of players in all leagues affected by it.

I agree with this 100% and believe they are leaving the lower middle class to fend for themselves. We enjoy the sport and being with friends and family. By raising prices on these leagues you are making it impossible for my son and I to be able to play. I hope some changes are made for all the peoples sake. Thanks

The y knows that they have a monoploy and taking advantage of the situation. The facility is not kept in very good shape for the amout of money they are charging players.

Raise the fees and less kids will be able to play! Most famous have multiple kids!

With having 3 children potentially getting involved thus year I won't be able to afford to let them play if these rates take affect
