SAY YES TO REQUESTS!

We are launching this petition due to the new rota scheme will be imposed soon within the Hospital. To start with, we feel ignored and that our opinion should have been taken into account from the beginning, since it is our lives and working condition the ones affected.

Whichever it may be the reason (Family, holiday, social life, studies...) we consider the alternative of submitting request gave us quite a lot flexibility to help reconcile working and personal life.

The new shifts that will be introduced (we know this only from the rumour going around and not from an official source) which will result in the cancelation of request (fact that we have been able to check in the next rota) lead us to submit this formal request to express our disagreement with the recent changes.

Therefore, and taking all this into account, we demand a rectification of this new changes as we feel this affects considerably our working conditions and , as employees , we are losing some benefits. If this is not taken into account and the new changes are introduced, the majority of us would consider reducing the number of hours or even resign, which will have a major impact on the hospital costs, staff management, service provided and resources.

We believe ,we, all together, can reach an agreement which benefits both the hospital and the employees, and we look forward to hearing back from you soon with a positive solution.
