I am a West Village resident.

I own or rent my apartment/home in the West Village.

I am in full support of Pieces gay bar relocating within the West Village.

I am writing in support of Pieces move to 61 West 8th Street keeping its existing closing time of 4 AM. I have enjoyed going to Pieces for years and would like to see Pieces 

continue to thrive as an affordable Greenwich Village gay bar at its new location.

I am in full support of Physical Onion LLC 61 West 8th Street NYC NY 10011 (ground floor and basement) Application to the State Liquor Authority (SLA) for New License to sell liquor on premise.

I do not believe that responsible gay owned and operated business' should be discouraged  

from serving their own gay community on the very same street's and neighborhood (Christopher Street and the West Village), where in 1969 gays said enough to being pushed around. Christopher Street and the West Village will always be the location where gay men go to meet, drink and socialize with one another. 

I as a West Village resident celebrate every gay man's right to openly be themselves in the very places where they feel most at home.

Pieces Bar in 2011 is that place.
