Well exercised, well socialized dogs are better behaved and cause far fewer neighbor-neighbor fights and complaints to the Police Department than do well exercised, well socialized dogs.
There are twenty one parks in Coronado, nine of which provide playground equipment for human children. Surely one park can be provided for the more than 2000 canine children living in Coronado!

We desperately need a park in town...there are so many for children, and dogs are forbidden from using them. Thank you for the consideration

It is used. My children are taught PE and soccer there. It’s a great use, keeping kids from getting obese.

We have waited years for a dog park. This is a great option! Fenced, near town, and "green!" think about how many cars will stay off the Strand, or even our streets, with an in-town park that eliminates a drive to the Cays. Please approve!

A dog park with water facilities like the one in the Cays would be beneficial to Coronado.

I would prefer an alternative location but a fenced dog park is needed and naysayers have not come up with viable alternate locations.

So many people have dogs in Coronado including myself. It makes great sense to have a dog park!

I can't be at the city hall meeting because I work but I am in favor of the dog park! Great idea and brings the school funding!

My family has a dog and we worry about bringing him to dog beach due to him running away since there is no fence. Bringing a fenced dog park onto the island would be great for so many reasons!

I now travel to the dog part several days a week at the Strand. This would be by far a better optoin for my dogs and me. Thank you for making this happen.

If this is not a feasible location for the dog park, identifying another would be great. Coronado is supposed to be a dog friendly town. The beach is sometimes hazardous due to the Tijuana constant spillage. If the school district offers this plot of land then why not utilize it?
