Yellow Creek Ravine Remediation

Does our City Councillor ...Josh Matlow ...know about this lack of care and maintainance to Yellow Creek ?

This lack of remediation has been allowed to happen since amalgamation in 1998. Evidence of previous maintainance is clear but has disgustingly been neglected since then by all our councillors in all ravines in the 'new' Toronto.

It would be a small effort by the city to preserve this precious asset.

I used to walk through this ravine almost daily, but its state of disrepair had made it dangerous - I worry about breaking a leg in the uneven portions caused by untended erosion.

I have walked the upper trails alng the banks of the ravine with my dog for years. Neglect and erosion have made them actually dangerous and I'm used tomwilderness hiking and canoe tripping. The don't need fancy upgrading just restoration of the trails, bridges and railings. This could be a lovely walk reminiscent of a hiking trail or portage in the middle of the city.

Request Trca to take necessary action

Please protect our ravines! They are a vital part of our city.

Please let's do everything to protect, restore and revitalise our ravines and green spaces. This is a healthy use of our tax dollars.

Very much agree with the need for a plan: Avoca to Mt Pleasant Road need a second working bridge for folks who go past the first bridge to the east side), and really must decide if Avoca to St. Clair should be so difficult. Litter and junk need patrolling everywhere.

Toronto needs these ravines - now and in the future.

The ravine is beautiful but the deteriorated slopes endanger the people to walk through the ravine.

Please pay attention to this.

I'm in here regularly and would love to see it restored, maintained, and remain usable for years to come. Can't even tell you're in the middle of Canada's biggest city, when walking through that area.

It's needed work for years, would be great if the city addressed this.

Please look after our creeks and ravines

This is one of Toronto's true hidden gems and deserves to be maintained and protected for future generations.

Please fix these stairs and rehabilitate the ravine. It is a wonderful community asset!

Please help us clean up this beautiful space in our city!!
