It makes me sad, that a once often-used ravine, parkland and route to schools and other amenities has been out of commission for so long. This should be a major priority for the City. The neighbourhood deserves better. Thanks.

Given the impact on health accessibility to nature provides, reestablishing a safe way to access the ravine should be considered a public health benefit. These stairs in particular are used to connect the Moore Park neighbourhood to schools and other facilities across Avoca Bridge. As a result, many families, the young and the old, use these stairs -- regardless of condition, in some cases. Making these stairs safe for use is, therefore, imperative.

The TRCA needs to address and more importantly to act to remediate in Yellow Creek and preserve this natural heritage for generations to come. It is an ecological balance and addresses at least some of the hard landscaping that the condo high rises have created in this city.

The Toronto Field Naturalists fully supports this petition asking the city and TRCA to develop and implement a master plan to remediate the Yellow Creek Ravine. Each year the TFN sponsors several nature walks in this ravine and regard this matter as urgent.

Please save this precious ravine - I walk it occasionally - used to do it frequently when I lived closer - and am very concerned that repairs are undertaken. We need those ravines!

The Yellow Creek ravine is such a beautiful and peaceful part of the city - it is probably my most favourite place to walk.

I walk through the ravine several times a week. I know it well. The amount of erosion and crumbling infrastructure is a big concern to me. The Yellow Creek Ravine is an absolute treasure to Torontonians. Please do something as soon as possible!!
