Nine Inch Nails' latest album 'Year Zero' is a Dystopian Concept album about a bleak future where the US government rules all. The album is part of a bigger project, which includes a number of websites, phone numbers and even a game. The project is very Sci-Fi/Fantasy oriented and very great. A small group of people in Toronto feel the Hugo Awards (a top prize in Sci-Fi and Fantasy) should honour this album and over-all project with an award or nomination at their 2007 awards. Currently the Hugo Awards do not honour music and in light 'Year Zero's' greatness and the fact that such great albums David Bowie's 'Ziggy Stardust', Parliamentâ

I was just checking the page and I am honestly kind of floored by how many people actually get what we are trying to do here because the whole concept of Year Zero just keeps growing in my head and it feels like people are finally seeing it as more than just an album. It is a weird thing to fight for a new category but seeing this kind of energy makes me think we might actually get someone to listen to the ARG narrative for once.

bout time music got some respect in sci fi circles. heavy concept storytelling at its best.

This album is a masterpiece. The ARG stuff was so ahead of its time. Definitely deserves some recognition.

YES. NIN totally changed the game with Year Zero. The world building on those websites was insane. Give them the award already!!
