Our children and our grandchildren deserve a chance to feel safe. I propose a yearly mental test be given to all children from age 5 and up like they mandate literacy tests yearly. This way children who have unseen issues may get the much needed help they need. Psychologists and Sociologists have many tests they give people to determine if someone is mentally stable.Why not have our children tested in case someone may be depressed, or angry so they can get the needed help instead of waiting until one lashes out. This can be a start since we need to start somewhere.

my grandson has been struggling so much lately and the school just ignores it. this would actually force them to pay attention to these kids before stuff gets worse.
