Not only myself but some of my fellow peer's have thought that this as a school camp is not a bad idea yet a good one. It is located on Moreton Island, at Tangalooma Island Resort. Not only does it let us learn about our marine life it is also a comforting experience for all the students who go. While there you will have introductions with Eco Rangers who will talk about their job and how everyone can help to keep this ecosystem thriving for many years to come. The camp includes accommodation and meals. Not only does all of this sound amazing but it also allows an up close and personal encounter with Wild insure bottle nose dolphins. If you are still feeling skeptical please feel free to visit the information website to help you understand what I am trying to appose. (Prices unknow as you must enquire sorry for any inconvinence. Not only could this camp before next year but for many years to come. If this petition is signed 100 times I will put this idea forward towards either the Principal or the Student Representative Council (SRC).

I have been staring at the browser tab for Moreton Island all morning because the dolphins really are the coolest part of this whole idea and I keep thinking about how much everyone would love the Eco Rangers talk. Some of you have sent me messages saying you want this too and that is really keeping me going while I try to figure out how to approach the SRC without sounding like a total nerd about it.

I think the camp is a good idea, maybe more than 2 nights though as it is an island and a week seems more appropriate

With leaving school and returning at reasonable school times we would be catching the 10am Tangalooma Jet (Headed Moreton Island) and the 2pm Tangalooma Express (Depending on amount of students they may need two ferries or the Tangalooma Flyer, Headed Brisbane). There is food on-board that you can buy and eat and if permitted it would be nice if we could bring electronic devices as it is a 75 minute ride. While even just going on the top deck to get some fresh air is still as good!
