Hey everyone.
Year 12 2014 would like to use one of the school’s brick walls to create a wall of fame. Year 12 would like to at least have ONE brick each to sign so they can be a part of Northmead CAPA High forever. One day we would like to be able to prove to the next generation that we went to one of the best school’s in New South Wales. Being a part of a CAPA school has really made a mark on us and we would like to give back to the school by creating a memorable wall. Who knows, as we are a CAPA school someone may end up famous and Northmead would have a great reputation and gain more and more talented students. By making this wall we would make Northmead look “Creative” as well as emphasize the “Performing Arts.”
When and How?
During an agreed upon date, during our year meeting, Year 12 will paint and decorate a chosen wall. With permission, we would like to use the brick wall near the science blocks and the industrial technology rooms underneath the visual arts rooms.
Provisions
Year 12 will all contribute and purchase the paints and assorted equipment required. All individual bricks will be Year 12’s responsibility and nothing rude or inappropriate will be done. If an individual does draw or paint anything rude or inappropriate the Year 12 student will be excluded from the wall and their drawing will be painted over and will not be seen by anyone. We will act safely and will not risk the wastage of any paint materials. All excess paints may be offered to the CAPA department.
Our vision is to be able to leave our “footprints” in the school and for the future generations to see that Northmead CAPA High will be the reason why we will be where we are in the future. Year 12 can give to the school by letting others see how creative and how much the school has done for us.
