The news is finally out and XTC: This Is Pop is officially getting a physical release. I never imagined that this would actually happen when I started the petition. This success belongs entirely to the 2,734 people who showed there is a real audience for this project.

Only available by streaming via subscription channels, and an occasional television airing, this petition is an attempt to prove enough interest to get a blu-ray or DVD made and available for purchase.

I'm from Japan. XTC is my very very BEST band for thirty years over. They have a lot of fans in Japan! longing to see this documentary of the band's history. Please release it and translate into Japanese!
Everyone who loves pop, punk and British rock should see this and own a copy. Such a unique band with a unique story. Fabulous film. The model railway motif that runs through this doc is worth it alone. But the band were fascinating.
I don't have a good enough net connection for Showtime (don't even have cable) so can't really stream/watch it but I would definitely buy a DVD/BD of the doc! Probably even get copies to gift to friends and family! Absolutely underrated band and others need to learn about them.
I'd love to have a physical copy of this! And for any pressing company people who worry that physical media doesn't sell these days... XTC fans love physical media! We've collected all kinds of beautiful and strange LPs, CDs, and box sets. We'll buy this!
Short films and music videos by XTC need to be preserved in the highest quality possible. Bluray please. Restored visuals and audio. Present the sound high resolution stereo and 5.1 surround sound. Do this the right way.

This is a rare glimpse into one of the most underrated yet massively influential bands in the world. Please release this on blu-ray and DVD so that people will be able to see it without having to rely on unreliable streaming platforms and dodgy information.
