It is our belief that much of our studio-time has persistantly been wasted, and continues to do so, by all the time adding up, that we have to spend workign around the fact that 'constraints' and other nodes within XSI are not re-namable. We hereby petition Autodesk, makers of Softimage XSI, to release a software patch, that makes this possible from XSI version 2010 and 2011, and to make this a permanent change to future releases of Softimage XSI. Autodesk have so far, not believed this change to be worthy of their development resource allocation. We believe differently. Their users need this functionality, and have done for many years. It is time to make this change.
