Excel is a company with no moral or ethical compass. They don't care how they affect the people that live behind the power lines. NO TO XCEL! Hear our voices City Council!

I am 21 and lived in Parker all my life. I have looked into the sky and seen this power lines scar the skyline for years - bury them underground and everyone will be happy... oh I know " TOO EXPENSIVE" - you will hurt thousands of peoples property value (always happens when 2 lines go in) - like my mom and dad... you really don't care because you don't live on the corridor... you should be ashamed as my mom and dad say they have to move now... congratulations on forcing out a family that has lived here since 1993.

Please consider the needs of the Parker residents on this corridor - not the power company.. there are other non-invasive methods to move power that will not impact us... please consider those other routes (not even a, b, c) - there are other ways to move the power - that do not impact any residents - your smart people - I know you know how...

You can not rush this at any cost. Selling a house is easy - buying is very difficult. Everyone on the corridor needs to be given as much time as legally possible to allow for someone to get the same quality of life we have had living in the great town of Parker - and that will take time. DO NOT RUSH THIS PROJECT - THERE IS NO NEED

As a real estate broker with 38 years experience, I can testify that houses on power lines take longer to sell and for substantially lower prices than the same model away from power lines. These lower prices show up on appraisal and impact the value of the entire neighborhood.

I oppose this project. I can see the current power lines from my house. The thought of them constructing more towers and lines so close to so many houses is very scary. I feel like this project is being pushed even though it is not wanted by the residents it will effect.

Xcel is not only dividing the town of parker, but is trying to "divide and conquer" the communities greatly affected by their "get rich" mentality!

Excel energy are the worst neighbors. In addition to the health concerns from whatever emits from the wires they have violated Douglas county open space and have allowed their prairie dogs to disperse on to adjacent property to destroy the land of private residences. They are one of the worst companies ever.

The power is not needed! Xcel is trying to fund their own profits with this project. I've talked to Xcel Energy employees that have said just this.

The power lines will decrease resale values of homes in Parker and reduce the appeal of moving to Parker. We bought a home that backs up to GREEN SPACE because it is GREEN SPACE.

I'm asking all of the city of parker officials to deny xcels request. The residents of parker deserve the same respect as highlands ranch where xcel buried lines. The size and scope of the additional lines is detrimental to parker. It negatively impacts our quality of life, lowers property values and unnecessarily creates an eyesore. This project provides no positive attributes to Parker. If it's really need for a greater good then burying the lines in the city is easily justified. Please protect your fellow citizens from a bad implementation of a power system from xcel. There are better approaches.
