I actually cannot believe this is happening because they finally backed down on the access blocks for modified consoles. It feels surreal to see those 511 signatures actually turn into a tangible policy change when I honestly thought they would just shut us out forever. I am going to celebrate …

I really never thought this would gain this much steam when I typed it up that night in my basement. It is actually kind of overwhelming to see so many people who just want to use their own hardware the way they see fit. This is getting big enough that maybe they actually have to pay attention to us now.

I have been digging through the forums and seeing so many people just trying to use their own hardware for homebrew stuff which makes it even more ridiculous that they are locked out of the service they genuinely paid for. It is honestly exhausting trying to track all these different error codes people keep sending me while I try to get a straight answer from someone at the company but I am not stopping now because this is just about ownership at the end of the day.

I was just looking at the counter and we keep inching up so if we could just get a quick surge right now that would be perfect. I really want to hit that hundred mark before I send this over to them because it feels like way more weight behind our argument if the number has three digits instead of just two. Send this link to anyone who uses live with a modded console maybe even that guy in the forum who was complaining about his account earlier.

my xbox is just for homebrew and emulators. i dont even pirate games. total joke that they lock us out like we are criminals.
Ridiculous. I paid for my console and I can do what I want with my own hardware. Uncapping the banned consoles is the only right move.
This is total BS. Just because I have a chip doesnt mean I am stealing games. Microsoft needs to stop being so greedy.
If i want to run linux on my machine that should be my choice. stop banning people who just like tinkering with tech!
Let us play. It is my property.
