With all the money invested into the spirit wear we should be allowed to wear it within the school. We get to show school spirit and let people know about the different sports teams and clubs of our school. It's not fair to have us buy it and not let us wear it.

If you buy a sweater or any other clothing that represents FX we should with out a doubt be allowed to wear them. It's good for the school and the student.

If students spend extra money on sweaters and jackets that have the Xavier logo on it then it should be part of the uniform!

Purchasing a team sweater seems to be "manditory" in some cases so putting a restriction on when we can wear them is not fair in any case. The money to purchase these sweaters goes to the school and has the school name/ logo written on it so why can't it be worn in school? vps are sending students home who are out of uniform or are wearing sweaters or jackets over their uniforms. They are sending the message that what we choose to wear is more important than our education. Teachers are using the argument that we have all chosen to go to a catholic school and thus must wear uniforms but I still believe our education should be valued more than the uniform/ dress code. I do agree that we should be wearing our uniform but during the winter, classrooms can get very cold so wearing a sweater OVER the uniform shirt should be allowed.
