I was browsing through yahoo's top stories ONLY 2 be HORRIFIED that ABC has decided to pull the plug on Ugly Betty by making this season (it's 4th) the final season. I've silently stoodby as ABC has canceled one good show after another, but NOW I have PLENTY to say. Ugly Betty is the ONLY show since George Lopez's sitcom on primetime which stars a latin person. It is the ONLY show where the main character is NOT a knockout beauty or a cop or some SUPER cool person, but a regular everyday person and someone we ALL can relate to because we KNOW someone like Betty or we are Betty. This show is so INSPIRING, so UPLIFTING and so WELL WRITTEN that it would be a CRIME, a SHAME and downright UNDIGNIFIED to cancel a show that CELEBRATES the Ugly Betty's and Average Joe's of the world. I HOPE that EACH and EVERY fan that watches this show or has a Betty in their life signs this petitiona nd we SOMEHOW make a miracle and keep Betty on the air.
