WWC and Chamber Opposition of New Recycling & Transfer Station in Woodinville

Tourist area don’t need added traffic with trucks. Also school near by.

Many Woodinville residents live uphill from the proposed sites and will suffer from noise, odors and increased traffic.

Woodinville has grown but managed to retain its charm. NO DUMP

I live and work within 1-2 miles of this site. Areas already sticks from porta toilets on hot days and traffic is bad early in morning and evenings into and out of Woodinville Redmond Road. Traffic will get worse when schools start, and backs up after 2 pm. Already dangerous during tourist season with more foot traffic, bikers etc. Do not want a trash dump in my backyard or office. Trucks already have a hard time getting into these business and blocking roads for deliveries. Adding to that volume will make it more dangerous. Thank you.

Please do not put a transfer station in Woodinville. It's right in the middle of a residential and a tourist area with very little cover. It also is very close to a waterway that could be easily contaminated.

The current site is the best site. It is already established as a transferstation and the people who live nearby know what was there when then purchased their homes.

This is the last thing our city needs. Can we please stop making such horrible decisions for our city and instead focus on doing something good for the community- like a pool or better parks that people can actually access?

I oppose this site for the transfer station. They should reconsider this location and look along NE 124th St as a alternative. Access would be on 124th to I405.

Woodinville already has a large transfer station and Bright water just outside of it's city limits. It makes no sense to add another transfer station in Woodinville!!!

Please no transfer station in Woodinville. It will spoil the ambiance of our destination town.

Expand EXISTING Houghton Transfer Station!

No-to this stupid site! It should go elsewhere where it isn’t so negatively impactful.

I am opposed because of the increased truck traffic through the town and the walking wine district.

We don't know how the sighting was deteemined because there are so many locations in North King County with better access and less imact to roads and thriving business.

I have resided and worked in this area for over 26 years! I have lived through the growth and the impact on the environment and traffic! This area cannot accommodate anything more, especially with the traffic it will generate. Thank you for making decisions that will improve our area! This would not be one!

Absolutely the worst spot you could pick. Roads not designed for lots of large trucks and right in the middle of winery tourist district.

Please choose another more accessible site. No infrastructure to support a facility like this. Additionally it is next to a salmon run, school and in close proximity of housing.
