This only makes sense!! Our home schools in West Virginia are full of incredibly talented and gifted athletes who deserve a fair chance including my children who are from a mom and dad (my husband and I) who were both college scholarship athletes but they are homeschooled and left without fair opportunity in this oppressed state of WV

I have friends who home school their kids. One of which has the dream of becoming a Pro Football player. But isn't allowed to play because he is home schooled.

Every child should be able to play sports. Even if the are home schooled or private schooling. Kids need interaction with other children of same age .

This would benefit the entire community. Homeschool students still pay taxes so they should be allowed to participate in after school activities.

I would love to see this bill passed! My son, who has since graduated, loved playing football, but due to situations we decided to homeschool during his 9th grade year. It would've been nice to have seen him continued to play and not be stopped because of the academic route we chose.

West Virginia homeschool students deserve to be treated equally and by prohibiting school sports participation, it is nothing but discrimination

Would love to see this happen in WV. Several children that I know go to a private school so this would allow them to be able to play the sports that they would like to be involved in.

This is great, and is very fair. We pay for the public school, included in our taxes, even when we elect not to send our children there for education.
