Please support the "Tim Tebow" bill in West Virginia

Parents and guardians that have chosen private or homeschooling have done so in the best interest of their child (children) and are paying tuition in addition to all the state taxes, monies paid annually. So yes these children should be allowed to try any sport or extra curricular activity that a state (county offers) in the same manner as a public school student.

I homeschool because a teacher physically assaulted my special needs son. He should not be discriminated because he is homeschooled and I now do not trust public schools now.

I think West Virginia should accept the Tim Tebow Bill and follow the example of many states. We need to offer the same sport opportunities to all students.

Allowing homeschooled and private-schooled children to participate on public sports teams can only improve the team. If they are allowed the opportunity to try out and be treated fairly as all other students, then they will obviously have the skills necessary to participate in the sport.
