1. The need for nutritious meals continues to grow with funding being reduced.
2. Many County Meal providers have reduced their serving days, closed sites, reduced home delivery routes, and changed their menus to include frozen or shelf stable meals.
3. Donations and individual giving have greatly declined.
4. Budgets have decreased and costs have increased.

Nothing is more important to a senior who is struggling with health problems than a nutritious meal.
For some seniors the center in their town is the only interaction they get with others. Please do not decrease funds any more, but feel it in your hearts to increase so that centers might be able to continue the programs they have, good meals and any services needed. Thank you!
We need more money for senior programs, cheaper than nursing homes and makes and seniors are far happier and healthy living at home.
I wonderful program that meets so many needs for Mason County seniors. Please continue funding. Increase please but do not reduce.

This program is very important to the seniors.
Our seniors deserve to have senior centers available to them. Sometimes the center is all they have.

Seniors need a place to gather with people their own age ,and some of them this is the only good meal they eat for the day .
