This petition is intended for graduate employees at Wayne State as well as anybody who would support us to send a message to administration that we deserve our negotiated benefits. Our negotiated dental benefits, according to our contract, is supposed to be the same as the rest of faculty. We currently get half of the benefit and yearly limit. When this was brought to the attention of administration, rather than fix the error, we have been stonewalled. This is the section of our contract that says what we have negotiated, and they have signed off on: Article XI Section B All Employees covered by this contract and who obtain medical insurance through the Employer shall receive the same dental insurance provided to persons represented by the American Association of University Professors-American Federation of Teachers, We want to keep smiling as graduate employees!
