1. The Empyrean Guard is a clan that believes deeply in the right for members to hold the administration responsible for their decisions and actions. This petition is an attempt to exercise that right. 2. Sic Semper Tyranis has been a patron of the Empyrean Guard server for some time. He has allowed Empyrean Guard members to use his personal servers to their host maps for testing purposes. He has continually supported the clan since its founding. 3. On December 29, 2009 Sic Semper Tyranis was openly and publicly accused of hacking by the servers administration. Sic Semper Tyranis was both insulted and shocked by this accusation. He felt both betrayed and victimized by an organization he supported unquestioningly. 4. This public accusation without substantial evidence is in direct violation of the agreement posted in the member forum on September 12, 2009 regarding accusing other players of hacking. The following was taken directly from that post: "The accusations of haxor, cheat, along with others are through. Guys... it's getting to the point that people's feelings are getting hurt and they don't want to play anymore." 5. While four admins have accused Sic Semper Tyranis of hacking but no demo proof was released to the public. 6. The signers of this petition agree that Sic Semper Tyranis was wrongly accused. He deserves an official apology from the Empyrean Guard. He should be allowed to play in the server unmolested by further accusations.
