People that move into the west side is Saint George should understand that there are trade offs. They have some of the most beautiful scenery in southern utah but shaving five or ten minutes off their commute or next trip up i15 doesn't justify the destruction of the habitat of native species or encroachment on some of our most beautiful landscapes.

There are researched and proposed alternatives that are better than paving through a conservation area. This sets a dangerous precedent.

A highway rapes and destroys this beautiful desert GOD ALMIGHTY created with its precious creatures!

Save the tortoises, save the land. Many come here for the open land and trails and to be one with nature. Without nature, it will become another concrete wasteland, this losing tourist and money incoming. When is human convenience the only thing though about?

Please do not build this highway. Red Cliffs is more important and valuable to the community and environment than a road. And since the BLM has provided valid alternatives, this is a no brainer. No highway please.

Why do we need another road. Please leave things be. How would you like being uprooted from your home. I know most people don't give a darn.

We need to protect our beautiful land and creatures. This is a beautiful area where so many go and enjoy this beautiful land we live in. We don't need more roads and highways. We need more land and to protect the land we have and the creatures who live there.
