Building this road sets the precedent for destroying habitat for desert wildlife as an easy solution when there are other viable alternatives. Please do not build the Northern Corridor. Respect nature and the land that was set aside to protect the desert tortoise.

Try other options first. Make streets one way, improve traffic flow with pressure plates and advanced interconnection.

I'm against building any kind of paved road throughout the desert tortoise reserve.

Please consider other routes for this road. This beautiful area needs to be preserved. While I have heard there are no plans to develop if the road goes in, I worry that will change with time and even more of our precious resources will be destroyed. Please say no to the northern corridor.

I truly think that if you need a highway another place could be found that doesn’t destroy this area. Not only will you destroy many animal habitats but history. The petroglyphs, the dinosaur footprints these can’t be replace- these are history that needs to be left intact for our/your children, their children and their offspring for years to come. This area should fall under a historical protection law because of the petroglyphs and Dino tracks. There are other options that can be used so use them instead of destroying this beautiful area. This is a preserve so preserve it. Man wants to destroy everything he sees don’t destroy this area it’s just not necessary to destroy this. Please don’t destroy this beautiful area

This road is just a catalyst for more development that will threaten the environment of the desert tortoise and our land. We are running out of beautiful trails and land out here that make southern Utah what it is.
