Would you support year-round ice in Saugeen Shores?

This town is desperate for more ice , leaving it in year round is a start.

We NEED ice 12 months of the year.

There is no need for travel out of town for summer ice. Our ice costs are the highest in the area. Why is this? It sure does make residents of this town consider taking their families elsewhere to skate.

It's time for Saugeen Shores to have year-round ice, multiple ice surfaces (that were built this century), and an upgraded community complex.

This would be amazing to be able to develop our hockey players year round!

We have a few smaller communities that are able to maintain the ice all year long . It would be great to attract some hockey schools to come to town .

Please keep the ice all year!

We would love year round ice for our family both for figure skating and hockey . This would allow money to stay in our town instead of sourcing out ice space within an hour or so to continue advancing within our sports

With the amount of people retiring and skating being a leader in exercise for any age. Not to mention the opportunity for a Junior C or B team to give future players a chance to stay in town to play ! Figure skating, curling not taking ice time away from minor hockey etc.

Why not leave the ice in Southampton this year. Move any scheduled events to the Plex as a pilot. We will keep it full.

We spend half the summer in Owen sound as they keep the ice in, it would be nice to not have to leave town

It would be terrific for kids a d adults to have a chance to be on the ice all year.

My kids skate in Southampton when available. Would love year round ice!!
