There are many things to consider when making a decision like this including what events are we going to loose. The arena is just starting to see the benefits from being on past tour schedules. If the arena is occupied by sports teams 6 months out of the year how will that affect concerts and such? Speaking from the standpoint of someone who was at every law game I saw that there was support, but how much will be lost due to not being able to afford both? All I'm saying is don't be fooled by promises backed by nothing.

The youth hockey program has flourished and grows each year. We need more ice time for tournaments and adult hockey leagues. Hard to believe the people of Ford Co and Dodge city can build a gem of a facility and only utilize it to maybe a quarter of its potential. It sits empty more than it is used, sad.
