Yes the building is worth more. It should be sold to benefit Berlin.

Berlin violated 91A Right to Know laws from the moment city council went into private session to agree to put out another RFP Planning board kept it going by ceasing to post their agendas and minutes on the city website and myself and two friends had to pull teeth from the secretaries etc for any information and planning board used euphemisms rather than say it was the school being discussed the Brown School subcommittee minutes were never posted or available and when information was finally were furnished after almost one month (and only after council was called out by I think it was Kathy (you go girl) they were incomplete these are just a few examples from the top of my head as type in haste as I need to log off the state needs to sanction council for their deliberate lack of transparency

Attorney General's office doesn't care .... we've called and emailed numerous times and either ignored or given run around we've contacted all three of Berlin's state reps to no avail, we spoke via email, phone, and in person with our state senator with no help beyond forwarding some links with explanations I even contacted Union Leader in hopes they'd investigate, they wouldn't even respond and we all know BDS is useless

I would think that after the riverwalk is put out to bid and completed,the brown school will be more attractive to investors and more option may become available,,certainly worth more than 1 dollar...

I believe we need a lot mire transparency on the Brown school sale. When the taxpayers have no idea that this transaction qas being pushed thru the Berlin city council for a dollar it scemreems exactly why the general taxpayer community in this city and so many across the country have no faith in how those we elect take a public issue and turn it into there own private crusade,it leaves to mistrust around the spectrum of it's members .

Nepotism at its best. I expect no less from the administration in this Town.

There is a condemned house next door that went for auction it is in ill repair the city would not take less than 2 thousand for it they got 7 thousand… it doesn’t have much land… that says a lot about the wisdom of this

I said we should put it as a homeless shelter and upstairs they can use it for offices we can also use some of the building for a police station downstairs it's used for many things but I still say they should help the homeless I'm on the phone just needs that act that little edge and to get them off the street we have some very cool Winters up here why not help them update Police department

These people are so under handed we need to call A/G s office and the Governor. Lets stick together and hold them accountable . just wondering is there a way to remove these people for their position we need to break up the Good Boys & Girls club.

If this is a legit deal we implore upon you to wait till after the first of the year. This seems a slap in the face to every taxpayer in Berlin. And screams of nepotism.
