Remove Worldwide Who's Who Linkedin Ad
We wish to petition to have the Worldwide Who's Who rights to advertising on Linkedin revoked. Several Linkedin members have been misled by this fraudulent company advertising on Linkedin. This company has capitalized on the trusted and respected name of Linkedin, and many have lot hundreds of hard-earned dollars to this scam, and were shaken by their experience and dealings with this company. The Worldwide Who’s Who has advertised prominently on the Linkedin site, and unfortunately some of these respectable colleagues have had the misfortune to hand over credit card details to false promises of elite status and promotion, in addition to airline tickets (as a special thanks for their membership). These members had confidence in this company based on their association with Linkedin. As well, the ads posted on the Linkedin site are printed in the same Linkedin branded blue font, leading many to believe that this site was directly affiliated with Linkedin. We have found Linkedin to be a great resource for entrepreneurs and professionals and are requesting that this ad be removed from the Linkedin site before any further Linkedin members fall victim to this scam. Many are in the process of fighting the charges with their credit card company, and exposing this scam. For more information and details of the experiences of these members please visit the discussion group athttp://lnkd.in/Gia49W. We thank you in advance for your attention to this matter, and trust that you will take action to remove this ad and restore the integrity of the Linkedin site.
