I have suffered bullying for 14 years now just because I am a Christian. I had been ROBBED, MOBBED at Workplaces several times. However, I could handle them efficiently and effectively. I have a treasure of experience to handle bullies...Yes that's me..

Even , I have started my career and novice like us are the easiest prey of these bullies , My roompartner bullied me and tortured me at the bachelor accommodation give to me by my company. The biggest mistake I did was ignoring and I had to leave my job.I have gone so weak that I am unable to concentrate and do anything, I fought really hard for my position there but no one knew except the girl whom I feel in love with during this hard times, I told her but it backfired and maybe I choose the wrong person to share it. I was physically tortured when we were at our guest house and Mentally at work place, he had 4 years experience more than me so he would show me down always and treat me as If I am his slave. Daily I feel Like taking revenge , All those things come in my dreams daily.I wont elaborate as it will drive a huge rage against my company which I don't want but yeah I definitely would say that there should be harshest punishment against them as it is the matter of career of those people who are being bullied and matter of bread and butter for their family. There are many people who get affected by this so , I would suggest a group to be formed and We should together file a case against these people as they may be powerful and have high contacts but they will surely be punished if we together fight for justice.

Yes, it is a rampant problem, especially in proprietorships and single-person controlled organisations. The head of the organisation easily assembles a coterie of sycophants who proceed to harass anybody who appears non-confident, or questions mediocrity within the organisation or achieves positive results which the old-timers in the organisation are not comfortable with. Many employees join the management in harassing and insulting a good employee in order to stay in the management's good books. Surprisingly, all harassment cases in India are deemed to be sexual, which definitely isn't the case. Laws against workplace bullying and emotional scarring of the victim are non-existent.

Workplace bullying should be considered as an serious offence and action should be taken to thwart it. Organizations should have policies such as the ones for harassment

I have been suffering for the past 8 years of Workplace harassment. The problems / challenges faced in Indian Workplaces are 1) There is no law for Workplace harassment 2) The HR conveniently protects the offender 3) Bullies at Workplace are people who have spent over 8-10 years at workplace and the Management especially the Core Committee wants to show the bully the door, they hire a person (target) to Scapegoat him / her. 4) The entire Organization turns against you - your Co-workers, Bosses and the Management conspire against you (the Victim). 5) After losing the job, the Victim will not be able to get a job because they are silently spoiling his reference behind his back. 6) They hold back the money that is due to be paid and they pay after several months and repeated emails and telephone calls. They treat as if I never existed 7) Finally the Victim is hired again into a toxic environment where the entire experience is repeated again. This happens mostly in Indian and MNC workplaces towards Minorities (Christians, Muslims, Sikhs) because of Hindutva elements.
