I have been to numerous chiropractors and missed countless days of work due to work related injuries that still affect my daily life, even after switching to ultrasound education. I am 33 years old and worked in a high volume inpatient facility performing portable echocardiograms for only 7 years.

I have already suffered through injuries including back and hernia surgery from extended hours and administration pushing heavy workload. No cares please HELP !!!
Currently in the field for 9 years, am doing physical therapy for my neck and shoulder due to reoccurring numbness and chronic pain in the neck, arm and and hands. Waiting to get EMG done for carpal tunnel and possible pinched nerves in my neck and elbow

I've been scanning 23 years and each day is painful at this point. Patient BMIs are getting higher and many employees want us to do more cases with less staff. Please create some safe standards for us!

I have been a Cardiac Sonographer for almost 16 years. I have already had neck surgery and still scan in pain every day due to hand and shoulder pain. Sadly, the physical toll this job takes on us goes unrecognized by employers and leadership teams as they try to find ways to make us scan more patients every day with less time, improper scanning environment, and less staff.
