Help express concern over the inclusion of "Gay, Lesbian and Bisexual People" (GLB) as a discussion topic under the chapter on "Sexual Disorders" in the McGraw-Hill textbook: (Ab)normal Psychology (Fifth Edition) by Susan Nolen-Hoeksema.

The text does not expressly label non-heterosexuality as a disorder, but the mere placing of this topic within the chapter on sexual disorders speaks volumes. Even beyond this, what the text does have to say about GLB people is not only inaccurate, but offensive as well. So much so that I'm writing a letter of concern to the publisher. Such letters will be of greater magnitude if they have many people in support of the sentiments expressed.

Please read the word-for-word copy from my textbook on the section about GLB people and my letter of concern and offer your opinion, and hopefully, your support. Whether it be by signing this petition or writing a letter of your own, any support will be greatly appreciated. If you do choose to write your own letter, I will be more than happy to include it with my (and potentially our) letter once I send it. Thank you!
