It is time for Worcester and Worcestershire to step up and support an 8 lane 25m swimming pool. This would not only benifit competitive swimming in Worcestershire, but allow great flexibility and pool programming to encourage more people to start swimming for health reasons. Having access to an 8 lane pool for competitons at weekends would also be a boost for tourism for the city.

With the lack of local competive pools, there is a high risk that local swimming clubs will fold due to no where for the children to train effectively. Having a pool at Worcester with 8-lanes would bring revenue into the area as local clubs are always looking to hire bigger venues to host their galas. Please, please let us have an 8 lane pool in Worcester

Help our swimmers to fulfil their potential by ensuring they have a 8 lane pool.

Swimmng is a competitive sport. The younger a person is when they come to the sport and potentially do competitions, the more likely they are to rely on the sport for fitness later on in life.

We should have a county standard pool. One that encourages children & adult health & well being. In addition, developing talented swimmers who'll be the sporting role models of the future.

The annual County Championships should be held in Worcester and an 8 lane pool will facilitate this. In addition competitive open events will bring people into the City with the resulting revenue benefits.

We really need at least an 8 lane pool n the county kids need to learn to swim and it's a sport like any other it needs good facilities to expand and to grow young talent.

These swimmers are dedicated young athletes that work hard ..and train at all hours ..young people get so much bad press these days , and the parents and volunteers that go into making swimming what it is .. Please don't away the good .. Look deeper .. The cost later on in life could be far greater than the investment in quality facilities that gives people something to be proud of and believe in themselves .. Don't take ithat away .. It will effect us all in the end if we keep closing these services .. Thanks for reading ..

I would love to see this proposed development go ahead. It will have such huge benefit for the children, adults, teenagers, families and athletes of Worcester for many years to come.

Worcester needs to invest in its future. A new swimming pool of this size would not only create jobs but also has the potential to be a major venue attracting visitors from all over the country. It would be very short-sighted to miss this opportunity.

with a movable floor the swim school programe the operator and wsc can offer would make considerable income to help the operating costs of the pool. Worcester has a huge population and could develop great swimmers. more importantly children who can swim.
