Proposed Objection to Baker Street / Woolings Row Parking Restrictions

Parking restrictions will result in speeding cars, parked cars slow traffic down, parts of Baker street and village need 20mph limit, that's my common sense UKIP view.

I totally object to double yellow lines outside these houses.As a mum of a young son it makes life really hard when visiting friends to have to park miles away from where your visiting especially when you have baby bags car seats pushchairs etc to carry and even worse when it's raining!

There is barely anywhere to park in orsett as it is!!

This is a quiet rural road

This will stop people being able to visit family.

It's a bloody outrage... Down with Thatcher...

Road needs speed camera's not yellow lines.

The road needs speed restricting not yellow lines. Maybe a few speed bumps would be better.

This would be awful for those of us visiting friends and family in this area

What this road needs is speed restriction aids, such as speed bumps or a speed camera!

We need traffic calming measures on Baker Street. If yellow lines are to be put down this will not help in reducing people's speed along our road.

This doesn't not benefit the residence from a practical or safety point of view. Assuming money would be paid to supply traffic wardens to monitor this if it went ahead; would that money not be better spent on things that would actually benefit the community? Perhaps a speed camera for Baker Street? When there are no cars parked there during the day, (because people at work) drivers speed down the road making it extremely dangerous.

There is no justification for this

Don't put yellow lines down this road

Not at all necessary down a road like Baker Street It also restricts family/friends from being able to park when visiting

There will be no where to park when visiting friends and relatives!!

It is proven that with this idea put in place it WILL become a racetrack.. Please listen to the residents all who know what is better needed..

Ugly lines in a rural setting There is no traffic congestion in this area to warrant there use Opposed to idea completly there is simply no need

Cant think why this is being done as its not possible for us to make our cars disappear. They will be parked further down the road making an even bigger eyesore to the parking arrangement at the west side of Baker street or in the high road where no restrictions are in place despite being a bus route

Ridiculous suggestion in the first place without due care or thought into more suitable solutions. Traffic calming is paramount to safety of joggers, dog walkers, babies being pushed in strollers and general activity on the pavement. With a clear road it will be completely clear to act like it is a racetrack which does happen when no parked cars are along here. Think sensibly regarding this and we may support it
