I feel like as long as this chaperone policy is in affect, the school district will lose a lot of money and as part of the student body, I feel it should be revoked. We should focus on the students from OTHER school districts, being that that's where the problem lies.

Bring back our student section!! School stresses every day about growing up and being an adult and being independent, yet you make a rule saying no going out to a school event without parental supervision. The student body is one of the biggest supporters of the football team. It is the relief that everyone needs after a long week. Bring back our student section!!

Here's the problem. This foolish rule basically will destroy a tradition that mostly all highschoolers love. Football games are the easiest way to have fun on a Friday with some friends. It will also diminish our social connections with friends and classmates. If adults want us "kids" to grow up, then why are they holding us back. The truth is there will always be some person that will misbehave and possibly cause harm to others but we shouldn't all have to pay for it.

As a parent of a teenager, let me present this to the board. Ok I go in with my child, my child doesn't sit with me she goes and sits with her friends. So tell me, what's the point? Am I supposed to hold her hand all night? That's crazy! And then your going to have kids that come from other schools who will drive the whole way here, pay to park, get their car blocked in, get to the gate and be told they can't get in because they don't have an adult with them! How are you going to handle that?

This is ridiculous. Woody High has one of the best student sections, don't let the acts of a few stupid individuals determine the rules for others!
