Thanks to Houlton's fire department, for their ladder, during the horrible fire this past week. Woodstock now needs their own!

Definitely need one. The fire this week just shows the need. We have a lot of of large older homes in town with tenants as well as nursing homes that cant be reached with the ladders we have now such as the WI on Chapel and the nursing home on Prince Albert along with many others.

Yes I feel we need a ladder truck as we have many large homes apartments and of course businesses. If we have to create a space for it we have lots of areas to create the space.

I think that a corporation of firestation in several town should get that kind of truck to rescue the population .

The area is getting a ladder truck, Hartland is going to house the truck for the area. Also Woodstock has a bylaw that new structures can't be over 2 stories.

I agree Woodstok needs a ladder truck as do all fire stations should have one. Woodstock could share the truck to rural communities that don't have one

I agree wholeheartedly, however I don't think this will come to pass because of s petition. The department has been asking for years, in fact it's almost become a "joke" that there is a need for a ladder truck. The town would need to build a new firehall or seperate building to house it!
