Woodmere Avenue width restriction

I go the long route to avoid and I live 2 mins away.

I have seen cars go through there as well,maybe it would help to have a camera there

Ridiculous width restrictions, there's always glass in the road that you have to drive over from vehicles that have been damaged.

The width restriction is too narrow for a medium sized vehicle.

There is a need to stop heavy good vehicles and speeding cars, but what we have now doesn't work. Officials are finding it easier to ignore the problem or blame someone else than resolve it. The council were responsible for putting it in, but are refusing to police it or review it. Talk about washing your hands! I am certain that it costs the council more to deal with the correspondence they receive about this problem than they would need to spend to fix it. Still, I suppose it helps to keep them in a job...

So many car drivers use bus lane as well, cutting up those who obey Highway Code driving through at extra slow speed to avoid damaging our vehicles

I have twice had my car scratched whilst going through these restricters(the ones going into Woodmere from the A41).The last time was on Monday 11th Feb and I was going very slow(10 mph).My Dr is situated on the Meriden Estate so I unfortunately have to use this route.

They are too narrow and damaged my car and require urgent fix.

I have scrapped my car before and it's very dangerous. Need urgent fix.

If this restriction was for heavy vehicles why have car drivers had to be so resricted.

Not fit for purpose. Take it away and install a Camera at the end of the road that will stop lorries . Before someone gets seriously hurt

They are too narrow! Why does there need to be 3 bollards! Cars and lorries use the bus lane. They cause traffic to build up on Woodmere Ave as people go very very very slow through the restrictions, by the time they are through the light are red again!

The narrowness of this width restriction causes more accidents and difficulties than it does stop lorries passing to the industrial estate. It needs removing!

To many cars damaged! No need for the current ‘military check point’ it’s ment to stop lorry’s.. but yet all I see is damaged cars

Three bollards especially turnig left from A41 ,very deceptive. Almost an optical illusion of a narrowing gap.

It's a ridiculous design and has to be fixed asap.

These restrictions are no longer fit for purpose. The road surface through each side of the restriction has dipped due to heavy vehicles travelling through. The bollards are damaged. The width restriction is too close to the junction of Douglas Avenue making it more difficult to get through when turning out of Douglas Avenue into the restriction in a larger vehicle.
