Poor design - no other width restriction has the posts inset into the curbstones; all the others have the posts behind the curbstones which gives the extra few inches of space to allow vehicles to pass through safely. With this present bad design more vehicles use the bus lane which sort of defeats the object? A FOI should be made to the police to see how many times they have been called out to deal with incidents. Last week there was a horrendous crash that caused massive delays while the damaged vehicle was recovered.

It is very badly designed - as one of its victims I now avoid it totally because I have no idea what I did wrong - obviously I did something wrong but whatever it was it did not justify the amount of damage caused to my car

Not only is the gap too tight but road is cambered, the width restriction in tudor avenue doesnt cause the same problems

I use this in my bus daily and have had numerous occasions of near misses with vans , 4x4 cars and lorries using this illegally. Cameras would be good.

The bolards are very close and dangerous in dark bound to flip mirrors if not very careful

The amount of damage from cars I’ve seen on floor is ridiculous. If you have a wide car like mine you have to be careful how you line car up. Even a few centimetres can cause damage.

These pols do nothing except damaging cars. There are not one but so many!! Totally unnecessary. The heavy vehicles go through bus lane anyway. These should be removed immediately.

Too narrow if the desired effect was to make traffic avoid the road then it has succeeded. Cars damaged daily.

It is dangerous as it is too narrow for 3.5 ton vehicles and with small cars there is something that pull you towards the curbs

Wife smashed up the new motor after going through here to see family. Get it changed to avoid more family rows about car damage.
