• Neighborhood property values are a universal concern. Reducing minimum building requirements has a negative impact. Reducing minimum square ft. required, approving vinyl exteriors, reducing or eliminating exterior stone requirements are examples of changes that impact neighborhood property values.

The developer, many builders, the City of Blaine, and the Metropolitan Council failed to effectively communicate stipulations and agreements made between one another to home owners prior to their purchase within this development. This project would seem that it will have many negative effects on the existing neighborhoods within the development as well as future neighborhoods to be developed in the development. The proposal would also seems to be putting potential buyers of the low income homes in a position in which they would not have capacity to maintain financially in order to thrive given the economics envolved. It is becoming apparent that an alternative solution should be created.

I am opposed to any low income housing in the Woodland Village area.

This does not make any sense to bring in H2H housing. This is not the area or neighborhood for it.

I'm concerned about how this affects the neighborhood development. I recently built a home on 121st and I'm concerned about home values as well as upkeep.

I am against the location of the Habitat for Humanity houses currently being planned at the corner of Woodland Parkway and 121st Avenue as part of the Wooldand Village development
