The council finally agreed to turn the old nursery building into our community hall. Seeing this space saved for my neighbors fills me with such relief and joy. I look forward to seeing all of you at the grand opening once we finish the renovations.

Seeing one hundred people back this project for Thornybank feels surreal because I remember when this was just a quiet idea between neighbors. This building held so many memories for our families and it deserves a second life as a space for everyone in Dalkeith.

About time we got a decent local spot. Support this!!!
This building has been sitting empty for ages. Such a waste when the community really needs a proper space to meet up.
Stop holding us back and just let it happen. The council needs to get their act together.
My kids went to that nursery for years, it would be lovely to see it turned into something useful for everyone in Thornybank.
Dalkeith needs this hall. Please listen to the people for once instead of just saying no.

Ridiculous that the council is blocking this. Let us use the space for the kids and the older folk, it makes way more sense!
