I really never thought this would gain any traction at all but here we are and it makes me think maybe they actually will listen about the wood shop after all. It is getting kind of wild honestly because I just wanted to see if anyone else cared about the saws and the lathes and now it feels like something might actually happen.

I can't believe they are considering getting rid of workshop it's simply ridiculous. Woodwork is a helpful skill and I would like to continue to learn it.
We need kids to be hands on and learn how to work with different materials. Instead of virtual stuff. Keep all the shops woodworking, pewter smithing, metals, home economics etc. Get them off their phones and start working with their hands.
people get more hurt building paper planes in this class then we ever have in tech
ridiculous to get rid of it. let the kids build stuff
my dad taught me how to use tools and it helped me so much with my career. schools need to bring this back now.

Just because of a few complaints doesn't mean everyone should be punished by getting this privilege taken away. Do not have your kid use the workshop if you don't want to. Its that simple
