October 11, 2012 To administration staff of Vista Murrieta High School: The Vista Murrieta Women’s athletic sport teams are petitioning for the acceptance to have the ability to wear athletic sportswear that does not meet the dress code requirement. It has come to our attention that every Thursday and Friday, the VMHS cheerleaders are allowed to wear their cheer skirts that are much higher than the allowed four inches above the knee. We feel it is unfair for the rest of the athletic women to not be able to wear their uniforms or workout wear on campus, as do the cheerleaders.
