International Women in Music Day was declared in UK in 2008 as part of the 100 Years of Female Recognition. Here in 2010, the music industry which offers the biggest single entertainment industry on the planet, still suffers with recognising females as equal counterparts undertaking the roles that men have occupied for centuries.
