I am so proud that I was Hyatt employee for many years before I retired. This is another great thing Hyatt is doing for the future generations.

It's really past my time to benefit from this but I sure wish I had it when I was birthing and adopting my kids. Please do this for future moms and dads!

Yes, please!! There is nothing more important than those first few months bonding with your child and to have to do this without pay (or utilizing your vacation time, etc) is very stressful for the entire family. Hyatt does such a great job taking care of the employees, this seems like a no brainer!

This would make a world of difference for Hyatt as a workplace.

When employees are valued, it speaks volume of the return you receive from the employees. It allows for exceptional customer service. It also shows that Hyatt does not value women in the workplace.

Morality. Hyatt knows what the right thing to do is. Time to do it, and stop looking at the profit columns.

Was employed with Hyatt for 10 years. Resigned for better work/life balance. Maternity options were part of that choice.

I unfortunately fell under the category of not being able to afford to stay home for very long after i gave birth to my son. I only was able to stay home 5 weeks with only 3 weeks being payed but only at minimum wage. Not only that but i suffered from postpartum and still could afford to take the time i needed to recover and have suffered ever sense. Lets makes this change .
