On Nov 30th, 2012 the women of "The Talk" showed up on television wearing fake beards and making fun of a woman from England who has PCOS and decided to grow out her facial hair for Movember in support of Cancer. The made comments about her looking like Larry the Cable Guy, and saying comments such as " I can't even understand how a woman can grow a beard". I feel that each woman on "the talk", and CBS should apologize to every woman with PCOS, and the woman who this story was about. Awareness needs to be made about PCOS and I feel that CBS and "The Talk" need to do a show on PCOS, the symptoms, other medical problems that are caused by it, and the emotional impact that it has on women who struggle with it.
Do better. Seriously. How about you use your platform to educate instead of being bullies.

Total lack of class. They should be ashamed of themselves for mocking something they clearly know nothing about.

This was so incredibly rude. People live with this every day and it is not a joke for your entertainment.

I was watching when they did this and I was so hurt. My own daughter deals with this condition and it is painful enough without late night shows making fun of it.

Unbelievable. CBS needs to wake up and see how offensive this was to women everywhere.
