I do not agree with the content of the bill. Women need to decide

The abortion bill is outrageous! You have absolutely no care for the women of this state. Your hate is evident. I shall do all I can to remove you from office.

This bill is bad for everyone!

The AL bill is too extreme.

Please trust women and their doctors.

For 5 minutes I have tried to collect my thoughts to write something intelligent and pithy. Alas, I am really simply speechless at how absurd and short-sighted our legislature and Governor seem to be. And of course none of our smart young folk want to come back home after college... I would urge every person who is eligible to vote to make sure they fulfill that responsibility at each and every election after they have educated themselves on the candidates. Those of you who are eligible to become voters ie - legal permanent residents and youth aging in - prepare now! And those of you who can't vote - ie undocumented folks or persons who have lost their voting rights - often times, it is your voice that means the most in mobilizing folks to the polls. We won't change the trajectory of our state if we don't get some real thinking folk down there in Montgomery.

Gov. Ivey - DO NOT let this disastrous piece of legislation take our state even farther down the path of divisiveness, poverty, and poor health. We are already at the bottom of the barrel. If you dont want anymore abortions - educate, give women health care and birth control . Money well spent - instead of throwing what little money we have into the endless court battles. We women of Alabama deserve better

Stop using the precious resources of this state to advance your right-wing agenda and get out of our bedrooms and our doctor's offices.

This action is already hurting business in Alabama. It is a terrible reflection on all the people of this State, and a great injustice to all women.

This is a human rights violation and a blight on our state!

This abominable piece of legislation is born out of deep fear and primordial need to control ‘something.’ It will take monumental amounts of exposure to better education over several generations to bring about an understanding that legislating control of women’s bodies is not Biblical, not good, not justifiable and not worthy. In the meantime women are expected to make up for men’s ‘shortcomings.’ It is wrong in every possible way. Vote these people out!

I am so tired of everything being politic to the point of absurdity - education, religion, healthcare. Until you are are ready to make bold moves and provide better education, expand medicare, provide access to birth control and reproductive education, basic healthcare in rural areas - do not speak for me and do not call yourself "pro-life."

This deprives every woman in Alabama of equal protection under the law.

The politics of Alabama are archaic and detrimental to the future of the state. These leaders must be voted out of office.

I do not appreciate the rights of the women of Alabama being abused for one group's political agenda.

Please repeal this extremist, unconstitutional legislation!

This bill is hateful, extremely detrimental to women’s health, and a threat to Roe vs Wade!

This action does not consider the views of the women in this state. How dare these state legislators and our governor dictate what women should do with their bodies. Revoke this law IMMEDIATELY

As a pastor, I strongly oppose this cruel bill that puts women's lives at risk.
